Every contribution supports outreach, materials, and the infrastructure required to deliver this work sustainably.

To stay transparent and mission-first, we use a simple, standardized allocation:

Donations & Impact Funding

• 75% supports outreach, materials, and mission impact

• 25% supports operational sustainability (labor, systems, and infrastructure)

Speaking fees cover professional services and are never mixed with donor funds.

Travel is reimbursed at actual cost or agreed-upon per diem.

This mission is survivor‑led, industry‑focused, and built on trust.

We maintain clear ethical boundaries to protect the work, the message, and the people we serve.

• Donations and custom programs, strategic partnerships support mission outreach and delivery

• A defined portion supports the labor required to create materials and engage with crews

• Speaking fees support the founder’s livelihood and business operations

• No donation is ever used for personal gifts or unrelated expenses

• All materials and stories are handled with respect, accuracy, and purpose

Rates reflect professional expertise, preparation, and the emotional labor required to deliver this work safely and effectively.

Payment

• Due upon receipt to confirm your event date

Cancellations

• 100% refundable 30+ days before the event

• 50% refundable 14–29 days before the event

• Non‑refundable within 13 days

Rescheduling

• One reschedule allowed at no cost if requested 14+ days prior

• Rescheduling within 13 days may require a new engagement fee

Travel

• Reimbursed at actual cost or agreed‑upon per diem

Recording of Talks:

• Allowed for your internal company use unless otherwise agreed in writing

Is my contribution tax‑deductible?

ScottEvansSpeaks™ operates as a Social Enterprise, not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

While your support fuels a mission of public good, contributions are generally not tax‑deductible as charitable donations.

However, for businesses, some donations are often deductible as a professional development, training, or marketing expense.

Please consult your tax professional.

Can I see how funds are used?

Yes. Transparency matters.

We maintain a dedicated ledger for mission‑related contributions.

If you are an active monthly partner or a custom program strategic partner, you may request a quarterly summary of how mission funds were allocated.

Can I support a specific trade school, association, non-profit, company or jobsite?

Absolutely.

If you want your support directed to a specific trade school or jobsite, include it in the “Notes” section of your contribution or send a follow‑up email.

We will do our best to route resources exactly where you intend.

I have a crew in crisis right now. What do I do?

Reach out — even if you don’t have the budget.

The Mission Fund exists to bridge the gap for crews who need help but lack immediate resources.

We will work together to get materials and support to your team.
