Stories Save Lives. This is Mine.

I grew up in silence — abuse at home. The loss of friends, two uncles and my stepfather to suicide that we never talked about. That silence followed me into adulthood.

During a five‑year custody war, I was nearly erased from my sons’ lives. Financial Destruction. Parental Alienation. False claims. One night, I tried to end mine. I woke upside down on a hospital gurney — and they used it against me in court.

I kept fighting. Truth finally came out. I got 50/50 custody, and my boys are safe and thriving.

That night should have ended me. Instead, it became a Life-Saving Tool.

People who knew my story started reaching out to talk when they thought they couldn’t continue, and thankfully none of them ever acted on their darkest thoughts.

Now, after 8.5+ years on construction sites and in executive offices, I see the same silence that almost killed me.

  • I know I can help, so I’ve chosen to Make Suicide Prevention Personal™.

If you’re at the edge — you don’t have to follow through. There’s still a way back. I’m proof.

Together, let’s help someone choose tomorrow.

Scared but Committed

I’m in a unique — and difficult — position.

I carry this message with the urgency of someone who has lived through it. I’m here because I have lost friends, 2 uncles, my stepfather and survived my own attempt. I feel called to speak so others don’t have to walk that road alone.

Most people would never guess what I’ve been through. I look steady. I look strong. But that’s exactly why this conversation is so hard — you can’t see the struggle from the outside.

We all hit seasons where the darkness closes in. Unless you’ve been there, it’s hard to understand.

One honest conversation could have changed everything for me.

In life — and especially in construction — we’re taught to stay “solid on the surface.” That’s why so few people step forward. There’s fear of being judged, misunderstood, or treated differently.

But I’m choosing to step into that fear, fully exposed, because culture only changes when someone is willing to go first.

  • I won’t be able to do this alone.

This mission won’t move without help. I’m pushing it forward with everything I have while still working full-time, but real change takes a collective effort. Without it, this conversation slips back into the shadows — and someone continues to lose their life every 40 seconds unnecessarily.

Help me change that statistic while I still have the courage and voice to push forward.

My intent is pure, and I hope this work is received with the same sincerity it was created with.

“Most people don’t want a way OUT— they want a way UP.”

  • By day, I’m proud to be a Ready-Mix Account Manager. I’m in the plants and on the jobsites just like you. But I’m also a survivor.

Many years ago, the weight of the silence became too much, and I reached a point of no return. I reached a point that far too many people in our industry quietly find themselves facing, but I was given a second chance.

Coming back from that moment didn’t make me an expert—it made me honest.

My story isn’t defined by that tragedy; it’s defined by the growth that followed and the truth that healing is possible.

If you need proof that you can make it through your darkest hour—you’re looking at him.

“Trust me, you are not alone, and one real conversation can change everything".

    • Solid on the Surface. Collapsing Inside.

Construction teaches all of us to show up, grind it out, and keep the gear moving — no matter what’s happening inside. That mindset builds strength, but it also builds silence.

    • Talk Gives Hope a Chance.

Real hope starts with real conversations — the kind that happen on tailgates, in trucks, and in jobsite trailers long before someone reaches their breaking point.

    • Safety Shouldn’t Clock Out.

True safety culture isn’t just about the shift or the hard hat. It’s about protecting lives 24 hours a day.

I present “The Next Generation of Safety”— and it doesn’t end after hours, it’s 24/7.

  • I don’t speak from a pedestal or at you. I speak with you.

I’ve lost friends, two uncles, and my stepfather to suicide. I’ve lived through my own darkest moment. That experience doesn’t make me an expert — it makes me honest.

    • No Posters. No HR Videos. No BS.

I’m not here to preach. I’m here to push the tough conversations we’ve avoided for too long — the kind that actually reach people.

    • Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable.

That’s how we shift culture. That’s how we protect each other. That’s how we build real safety — 24/7.
